Flourescent PIB injected i.v. into a Tg2576 mouse.  The fluorescent PIB crosses the Blood Brain Barrier, enters the brain parenchyma, and binds to amyloid plaques and CAA, while the unbound PIB is cleared away.  The time elapsed is ten minutes.  Taken from Bacskai et. al.
